WEBINAR: Tackling Disadvantage with Marc Rowland
A fresh, collaborative look at how we support all children to enjoy, engage and thrive in education, using enquiry and peer review as a tool to improve our approach:
Tuesday 23 March, 3.30pm-5pm
We'd love you to join us for our second SPP Open Access Webinar, where this time we'll be looking at new ways to understand and support children who are vulnerable to educational disadvantage.
Core SPP principles will be applied to support us to challenge our own assumptions as practitioners, develop enquiry-based approaches in our own context and to plan improvement activity that is school led.
We're delighted to welcome Pupil Premium expert Marc Rowland and a panel of serving headteachers to:
+ collectively explore the experience and research that forms the bedrock of our SPP Tackling Disadvantage Enquiry Framework and how we might look in new ways at supporting children and young people who are at risk of underachievement
+ challenge ourselves to explore what we mean by disadvantage, how we understand some of the more common themes and levers from available research and to share lived experiences with colleagues around the country
This webinar is open to all schools and education leaders. To attend, please follow the link to register for your free place.
